BURGER TOUR GUIDES
How to Compare Repeat Visits to a Burger Restaurant
A second visit is new evidence. Keep the first experience, add the next one, and look at what actually changed before deciding whether the restaurant is consistent.
Record another visit
Open the restaurant page and choose “Rate another visit.” Keep each visit’s date, burger, score and notes separate. Your visit history can be sorted newest first, oldest first, highest score or lowest score, making it easier to find a change over time.
Use Edit when correcting an existing entry. Use another visit when you went back. Replacing the old review loses the comparison you were trying to build.
Compare the meal, not just the number
Begin with the same restaurant location. Then check the order: a different burger, a different doneness request or different toppings can explain a changed score. Dining in and taking food home also produce different conditions.
Write a short comparison while the meal is fresh: what stayed strong, what changed, and whether you would order the same thing again. Be specific about your own experience rather than guessing why the kitchen had a different result.
Your average and the public score answer different questions
Your personal average includes your rated visits to that location. For example, visits rated 7, 9 and 8 produce a personal average of 8. That average is a summary; the individual entries still show how the visits differed.
The public Burger Tour Score counts each account’s latest rating for the location once. In the example above, your latest 8 is the contribution from your account. Your three visits do not become three separate people in the community average.
Public score participation does not make your private notes and photos public. Use the app’s explicit sharing controls when you want to share a review. The rating guide explains the score system in more detail.
Use a repeatable note
Ordered: burger name, changes and sides.
Best part: the thing you would come back for.
Changed since last time: one concrete difference.
Next time: same order, a different order, or a different stop.
A useful journal helps you choose your next meal. It does not need a dramatic verdict after every visit. Look for a pattern, keep room for an outlier, and let your own notes explain the average.
